To some, this message may be uncomfortable, to some, this email will ring true, to some, sadly will never even get to read it...
I hope that this message will give you some guidance as to how to move to your next level of maturity and consciousness.
Let's begin.
There is a distinction or difference between 'sharing' and 'making a stand'.
'Sharing' is great. We will let people know about our products and business. We inform them of how we feel, why we like them, what benefits they give and how much better they are compared to the market and what difference it will make to them if they use it or try it. We even tell them of the benefits of the business and how much money they can earn.
All this is great, and one can make money and be somewhat successful at it. You will create many loyal users or consumers. And you will help them improve their health, weight and Vitality.
However, to achieve a greater level of success, called significance and leadership, something more is needed. It takes, courage, risk and passion to do this. And that is, 'making a stand'.
Making a stand, means being passionate about Nu Skin business, have absolute belief that it is the most incredible life changing opportunity ever... for your friends.
It means:
- to take risk to give feedback to prospects to improve their attitude further than to just 'wait and see...' But instead say 'come on let's do this together and build 100 franchises now!'
- to stay 10mins longer to have them see the opportunity and then stay 1 hour longer to explain it again... Twice while you are tired...
- to say what you might be afraid to say, for fear they may not like you, like "why not?" "what if you succeed?" but realize that 'no one has ever made a stand for them before and to give them that feedback.' (because you care that much for them)
- to speak louder and clearer than ever before, and surprise them with your passion, confidence and clarity, let them borrow your strength and vision to see further and bolder,
- to have more patience to listen longer than the last prospect, and show them that you care and understand, really understand,
- to really present with rigor (urgency and confidence) and enthusiasm, so they feel it, get it and are inspired by it to take the next simple step,
- to challenge an objection with certainty that the prospect is awakened from his 'dream'. "All I know is this! This business Absolutely works and YOU CAN DO IT!"
- to find answers and guidance from books when you dislike reading, from CD's when you dislike listening, from video's when you dislike watching, from seminars when you dislike attending.
- to ask a newbie how they closed so fast even when you are a veteran, and be humble to learn from the stupidest of errors and laugh at yourself, let your foolishness be your prospects inspiration and hope that they too can make mistakes as well ... And succeed,
- to take a bus to listen to a special spa training and come back to Penang the next day and still have to go to work, because you know, that you can make a difference to your sidelines by training them new skills,
- to look beyond the prospects current life and limitations and see his potential strengths and future, by letting go of our own ego and righteousness to allow imperfection drive us forward and let the process work its magic,
- to demand more from the prospect than they demand of themselves, challenge them to see it what they dare not see, have them be BIGGER than they ever thought possible and exceed all their preconceive limitations of themselves,
- to challenge ourselves to fight for what is right despite every rejection, and believe as you believed the very first day that you can do it, "Nothing is out of reach if I consistently stretch."
- to know that it could be their very last time they can to change their life, to chose a different path because, tomorrow may never come...
- to feel that despite any result, you know you gave it all you got ...and more, and no matter what, you will do it till you hit Ruby, Diamond and MCM,
- to feel stronger at every set back, and that 'what doesn't kill you, only makes you stronger!' is a testament of your existence,
- to care and love so much for the prospect that you would be willing to suffer their objections, ridicule, laugh and 'messages', and still love them more, 'for their disbelief in you was the reason you believed in yourself.'
- to go on and on and on and attend a BOM without any new friends, because it is during THAT BOM that you will find what you seek or contribute to another MADE partner so they will come back stronger to help you tomorrow!
- to follow up month after month after month because you believe in them, that 'their time' is around the corner and when they need you, you are more prepared than ever to help them,
All these and more, are the signs of a true leader and a person who will 'make a stand' for some one else, no matter what.
Remember, there is a distinction or difference between 'sharing' and 'making a stand'.
Understand the difference and decide to not only share, but have the passion, courage and risk to 'make a stand' and be significant!
Let's make a stand and grow Double!
