Team,

This is SO IMPORTANT in our business. Building relationships and trust.

Making an Impression vs. Being ImpressedBy John C. Maxwell

Admired for her beauty, Jennie Jerome (Winston Churchill's mother) glided through the loftiest social circles in Great Britain. Once, on consecutive nights, Ms. Jerome dined with England's premier politicians: Prime Minister Benjamin Disraeli and his chief rival, William Gladstone. When questioned about her impressions of the two men, Ms. Jerome made the following observation:

"When I left the dining room after sitting next to Gladstone, I thought he was the cleverest man in England. But when I sat next to Disraeli I left feeling that I was the cleverest woman."

Perhaps you know leaders like Gladstone-confident individuals who exude wit, intelligence, and charisma. Whenever you're around them, you cannot help but notice their charm...because they make every effort to parade their brilliance in front of you. However, I'll wager that you'd prefer to follow someone like Disraeli, a leader who would rather draw out the best in you than strut his or her personal greatness.

In relationships, be impressed with others instead of trying to make an impression. Throttle back on the urge to make your presence felt, and instead look for ways to esteem those around you. By expressing genuine interest in the people in your life, you'll win friends and gain favor.

The 30-Second Rule

I've developed a simple rule in relationships to help me shift away from a selfish vantage point. Within the first 30 seconds of a conversation, I say something encouraging to the other person. Giving out compliments focuses me on the value of the other person and prevents me from being self-absorbed. Here are a few principles I've found helpful in following the 30-second rule:

1) Give Others the "Triple A" Treatment:

o Attention
o Affirmation
o Appreciation

Gossips speak endlessly about others, and bores talk only of themselves. A brilliant conversationalist is someone who speaks to you about yourself. These thoughtful persons attract friends and reap the benefits of likeability.

2) Remember that the 30-Second Rule Gives Energy

People are energized and motivated when their leaders value them for who they are. On the other hand, they quickly disengage when they feel anonymous. Speaking encouraging words does wonders for a leader when it comes to inspiring a team and earning its loyalty.

3) Practicing the 30-Second Rule Positions You for Success with People

Benjamin Franklin realized this truth when he wrote the following note to John Paul Jones:

"Hereafter, if you should observe an occasion to give your officers and friends a little more praise than is their due, and confess more fault than you can justly be charged with, you will only become the sooner for it, a great captain. Criticizing and censuring almost everyone you have to do with will diminish friends, increase enemies, and thereby hurt your affairs."

When we add to others, they are drawn to our side, but when we belittle others, they withdraw from our influence.

4) Spend Time Creating an Encouraging Thought for Everyone You Know.

Before I meet with people, I pause to think about something encouraging I can say to them. This practice isn't complicated, but it does take some time, intentionality, and discipline. And the reward for practicing it is huge.

SUMMARY

Too many people, when in the presence of others, search for ways to make themselves look good. The key to the 30-Second Rule is reversing this practice. When spending time with people, search for ways to make them look good. Doing so uplifts them and ultimately raises their opinion of you as well.

5 Reasons Why Dreams Don't Take FlightDr. John C. Maxwell

Most of us never see our dreams come true. Instead of soaring through the clouds, our dreams languish like a broken-down airplane confined to its hangar. Through life, I have come to identify five common reasons why dreams don't take flight.

#1 We Have Been Discouraged from Dreaming by Others

We have to pilot our own dreams; we cannot entrust them to anyone else. People who aren't following their own dreams resent us pursuing ours. Such people feel inadequate when we succeed, so they try to drag us down.

If we listen to external voices, then we allow our dreams to be hijacked. At some point, other people will place limitations on us by doubting our abilities. When surrounded by the turbulence of criticism, we have to grasp the controls tightly to keep from being knocked off course.

#2 We Are Hindered by Past Disappointments and Hurts

In the movie Top Gun, Tom Cruise plays Maverick, a young, talented, and cocky aviator who dreams of being the premier pilot in the U.S. navy. In the film's opening scenes, Maverick showcases his flying ability but also displays a knack for pushing the envelope with regards to safety. Midway through the movie, Maverick's characteristic aggression spells disaster. His plane crashes, killing his best friend and co-pilot.

Although cleared of wrongdoing, the painful memory of the accident haunts Maverick. He quits taking risks and loses his edge. Struggling to regain his poise, he considers giving up on his dream. Although the incident nearly wrecks Maverick's career, he eventually reaches within to find the strength to return to the sky.

Like Maverick, many of us live with the memory of failure embedded in our psyche. Perhaps a business we started went broke, or we were fired from a position of leadership. Disappointment is the gap that exists between expectation and reality, and all of us have encountered that gap. Failure is a necessary and natural part of life, but if we're going to attain our dreams, then, like Maverick, we have to summon the courage deal with past hurts.

#3 We Fall into the Habit of Settling for Average

Average is the norm for a reason. Being exceptional demands extra effort, sustained inspiration, and uncommon discipline. When we attempt to give flight to our dreams, we have to overcome the weight of opposition. Like gravity, life's circumstances constantly pull on our dreams, tugging us down to mediocrity.

Most of us don't pay the price to overcome the opposition to our dreams. We may start out inspired, but through time we fatigue. Although never intending to abandon our dreams, we begin to make concessions here and there. Through time, our lives become mundane, and our dreams slip away.

#4 We Lack the Confidence Needed to Pursue Our Dreams

Dreams are fragile. They will be buffeted by assaults from all sides. As such, they must be supplied with the extra strength of self-confidence.

In Amelia Earhart's day, women were not supposed fly airplanes. If she had lacked self-assurance, she never would have even attempted to be a pilot. Instead, Earhart confidently chased after her dream, and she was rewarded with both fulfillment and fame.

#5 We Lack the Imagination to Dream

For thousands of years, mankind traveled along the ground: by foot, by horse-and-buggy, by locomotive, and eventually by automobile. Thanks to the dreams of Orville and Wilbur Wright, we now hop across oceans in a matter of hours. The imaginative brothers overcame ridicule and doubt to pioneer human flight, and the world has never been the same.

Many of us play small because we do not allow ourselves to dream. We trap ourselves in reality and never dare to go beyond what we can see with our eyes. Imagination lifts us beyond average by giving us a vision of life that surpasses what we are experiencing currently. Dreams infuse our spirit with energy and spur us on to greatness.

Want to have Charisma?

Charismatic Leadership

by John C. Maxwell

William Gladstone and  Benjamin Disraeli were two of the fiercest political rivals of the 19th  century. Their epic battles for control of the British Empire were marked by  intense animosity that spilled over from the public arena into their personal  lives. Ambitious, powerful, and politically astute, both men were spirited  competitors and masterful politicians.

Though each man achieved impressive  accomplishments for Britain, the quality that separated them as leaders was  their approach to people. The difference is best illustrated by the account of  a young woman who dined with the men on consecutive nights. When asked about  her impression of the rival statesmen, she said, "When I left the dining room  after sitting next to Mr. Gladstone, I thought he was the cleverest man in  England. But after sitting next to Mr. Disraeli, I thought I was the cleverest  woman in England."

What distinguished  Disraeli from Gladstone was charisma. Disraeli possessed a personal charm  sorely lacking in the leadership style of his rival. His personal appeal  attracted friends and created favorable impressions among acquaintances.  Throughout his career, Disraeli's charisma gave him an edge over Gladstone.

Understanding  Charisma
Of all leadership  attributes, charisma is perhaps the least understood. At first glance, charisma  appears to be an invisible energy or magnetism. There's no denying its  presence, but it's hard to put a finger on its source. Some mistakenly believe  charisma is a birth trait—embedded in certain personalities, but completely  absent in others.

I believe charisma is both  explainable and learnable. I also believe charisma helps to boost a leader's influence.  I'd like to examine the causes of charisma and teach you how to increase the  charisma you display as a leader.

The Qualities  of a Charismatic Leader
Charisma is defined as, "The  ability to inspire enthusiasm, interest, or affection in others by means of  personal charm or influence." Leaders who have this special ability share four  things in common:

1) They Love Life
Leaders who attract a  following are passionate about life. They are celebrators, not complainers.  They're characterized by joy and warmth. They're energetic and radiant in an  infectious way.

Look no further than the  smile to illustrate the power of charisma. When people see a smile, they  respond with a smile. If you're skeptical, try it. Smile at cashiers, waiters,  co-workers, etc. You'll find your smile earns a reciprocate smile almost every  time. We are hardwired to take on the energy of those around us. Leaders who  love life have charisma because they fill the room with positive energy.

2) They Value the  Potential in People
To become an attractive  leader, expect the best from your people. I describe this behavior as "putting  a 10 on everyone's head." Leaders see people not as they are, but as they could  be. From this vantage point, they help others to build a bridge from the present  to a preferred future.

Benjamin Disraeli  understood and practiced this concept, and it was one of the secrets to his  charisma. He once said, "The greatest good you can do for another is not to  share your riches but to reveal to him his own." When you invest in people and  lift them toward their potential, they will love you for it.

3) They Give Hope
People have an inner  longing to improve their future and their fortunes. Charismatic leaders connect  with people by painting tomorrow brighter than today. To them, the future is  full of amazing opportunities and unrealized dreams.

Napoleon Bonaparte once  said, "Leaders are dealers in hope." They infuse optimism into the culture  around them, and they boost morale. While attentive to the current reality,  they do not resign themselves to present circumstance.

4) They Share Themselves
Leaders with charisma add  value to people by sharing wisdom, resources, and even special occasions. They  embrace the power of inclusion, inviting others to join them for learning experiences,  brainstorming sessions, or simply a cup of coffee. Such leaders embrace team  spirit and value togetherness. As a result, charismatic leaders are not lonely  at the top.

When it comes to charisma,  the bottom line is other-mindedness. For leaders, the greatest satisfaction is  found by serving. They find great pleasure celebrating the successes of those  around them, and the victory they enjoy the most is a team triumph.

Summary
In closing, charisma has  substance. It's not manipulative energy or a magical gift endowed upon select  personalities. Rather, it's an attractive blend of learnable qualities.

Furthermore, charisma  compounds a leader's influence. Without it, leaders have trouble inspiring  passion and energizing their teams. With it, leaders draw out the best in their  people, give the best of themselves, and find the greatest fulfillment.

All things being equal, leadership makes the  difference.

Go Practice it, ya?

Al Pacino's Inch By Inch speech from Any Given Sunday

I don't know what to say really.
Three minutes
to the biggest battle of our professional lives
all comes down to today.
Either
we heal
as a team
or we are going to crumble.
Inch by inch
play by play
till we're finished.
We are in hell right now, gentlemen
believe me
and
we can stay here
and get the shit kicked out of us
or
we can fight our way
back into the light.
We can climb out of hell.
One inch, at a time.

Now I can't do it for you.
I'm too old.
I look around and I see these young faces
and I think
I mean
I made every wrong choice a middle age man could make.
I uh....
I pissed away all my money
believe it or not.
I chased off
anyone who has ever loved me.
And lately,
I can't even stand the face I see in the mirror.

You know when you get old in life
things get taken from you.
That's, that's part of life.
But,
you only learn that when you start losing stuff.
You find out that life is just a game of inches.
So is football.
Because in either game
life or football
the margin for error is so small.
I mean
one half step too late or to early
you don't quite make it.
One half second too slow or too fast
and you don't quite catch it.
The inches we need are everywhere around us.
They are in ever break of the game
every minute, every second.

On this team, we fight for that inch
On this team, we tear ourselves, and everyone around us
to pieces for that inch.
We CLAW with our finger nails for that inch.
Cause we know
when we add up all those inches
that's going to make the fucking difference
between WINNING and LOSING
between LIVING and DYING.

I'll tell you this
in any fight
it is the guy who is willing to die
who is going to win that inch.
And I know
if I am going to have any life anymore
it is because, I am still willing to fight, and die for that inch
because that is what LIVING is.
The six inches in front of your face.

Now I can't make you do it.
You gotta look at the guy next to you.
Look into his eyes.
Now I think you are going to see a guy who will go that inch with you.
You are going to see a guy
who will sacrifice himself for this team
because he knows when it comes down to it,
you are gonna do the same thing for him.

That's a team, gentlemen
and either we heal now, as a team,
or we will die as individuals.
That's football guys.
That's all it is.
Now, whattaya gonna do?

Team,

Learn to tell stories in your sharing.

Stories about your reasons you joined Nu Skin.
Stories about you being skeptical and than seeing the big picture.
Stories about your TRA experience.
Stories about your friend who did TRA successfully.
Stories about your Uplines business experience.
Stories about how Nu Skin was started.
Stories about how you developed into a more complete person.

Please LOVE stories! The Bible is a book of stories. Sanskrit verses & Hindu Classics are all stories.

Why tell stories?

1) You get 100% of the Prospect Attention
2) Because you are not talking about them (the prospect), they have no resistance to it.
3) Because you are not selling anything to them (the prospect), they have no 'salesman' resistance.
4) Its Fun!
5) They remember almost everything you tell them.

Can you tell this story to 1 person a day?

"Let me tell you a story.

Imagine Johnny sitting at his desk.

His boss comes by and taps his shoulder. "Johnny! I've got Good news and Bad news; which would you want first?"

What do you think, Good or Bad? (Prospect: GOOD)

That's right, so he says: "Good news please!". The boss says: "Johnny, you are fired. The management has given all the jobs to the Chinese and have left a minimum headcount here."

Johnny is shocked, he thinks to himself: 'Oh my goodness! What will I do? How do I tell my wife? This is very BAD!...'.

Johnny says: "What's the good news?".

Boss says: "Oh, the good news is, you get the rest of the day off!"

Johnny says: "But, is there anything you can do, to keep me on the job?"

Boss says: "Well, there is, but there is a condition. You will need to work an extra hour every day, Monday to Friday from 5pm to 6pm without pay."

Johnny says: "Okay! I can do that!"

Boss says: "Great! Now, because you are willing to do this, after 2 years, the management will be willing to let you retire on full pay!"

Johnny says: "Wow! This is the best day of my life! Full pay! Thank you so much!!!"

Johnny is so happy and he keeps his job and works an extra hour everyday, Monday to Friday from 5pm to 6pm. After 6 months, Johnny is at a party with his friends.

And his friends say to him: "Johnny, you are an idiot, why are you working an extra hour for FREE? Why don't you find a better job that pays you the whole hour!"

Johnny says to himself: 'I got 18 months to go to retire on full pay... ' and he continues working an extra hour everyday, Monday to Friday from 5pm to 6pm.

After 18 months, Johnny's wife says to him: "Johnny dear, we really miss you at home, you miss all the dinners and the kids don't see you anymore.... why don't you find a find a better job that you can come home earlier?"

Johnny says to himself: 'I got another 6 months to go to retire on full pay... ' and he continues working an extra hour everyday, Monday to Friday from 5pm to 6pm.

By the end of 2 years, Johnny retires on full pay. Isn't that great?!

Unfortunately, your company doesn't offer this package does it?

My company does.

The industry I am in, does exactly that. By using 1 hour a day, every day, you can build a big business and create passive residual income in 2 years so that you can retire. Now, in that 1 hour,  you talk to to people and share with them this story or introduce them the business opportunity. If you don't know how to do it, you can learn. For the 1st week, all you learn is "Hi!", on the second week, you learn "My Name is ....." You can learn how to even play the Piano in 2 years, right? So, do you think you can tell this story to your friends? It's simple right?

Let me show you how this works....."

It's a simple story to tell, but it is effecting in introducing a concept via a story to your prospect in a way, they can understand it.

So, I leave you with this:

"There is 2 types of people in the world, the ones that tell stories, and the ones that get paid doing it."

WKC'S RULE OF THUMB's:
  1. People Reject Because They Don't Understand.
  2. Assume YES until told NO.
  3. You Can't Say the Right Thing to the Wrong Person, You Can't Say the Wrong Thing to the Right Person.
  4. You Can't Predict (Prejudge) Their Future
  5. Be Absolutely Convinced Yourself w/ 100% Belief

A. If the friend is Skeptical, but open to understand:

2. NEVER Argue with them. In fact ACKNOWLEDGE their perspective: "I see what you mean. If I were you, I would feel the same way." (Be on their side looking in, remember, you were probably like them too...)

TEAM,

We realize we need to have a MORE POWERFUL NU SKIN STORY

A Persuasive story consists on the below components. We have crafted an example of a Nu Skin Story for your to study and memorize.

Note that you do not need to memorize word for word, but the structure and understand that as long as you have these components you have a persuasive story.

Note that your personal story is also structured the same way too.

There is a TURNING POINT (Antogonist, your job, work, career, health, sickness, etc) that causes you to rethink your life. There is AWARENESS of other options and alternatives and the AWARENESS of Nu Skin as the BEST solution at this time. There is also a TRANSFORMATION, via, TRA or Products or Business or LIFESTYLE (INCOME). The HERO can be your sponsor, Nu Skin, your parents that inspire you or attract you or challenge you by their EXAMPLE, LIFE, CHOICE or DECISION.

TO DO's:
Step 1: Read the Story below
Step 2: Understand the compositions (I have colored it for you to see the different parts)
Step 3: Review your Personal Story (to have similar components or emphasize it more)
Step 4: Share the Nu Skin Story and your Personal Story with Downlines and Prospects (Teach them).
Step 5: Go on stage to receive your RUBY/ BLUE DIAMOND / TEAM ELITE Pin!

The composition of a Persuasive Story:

(From The Elements of Persuasion: Use Storytelling to Pitch Better, Sell Faster & Win More Business by Richard Maxwell and Robert Dickman)

  1. Passion to make listeners care about the outcome
  2. A Hero to drive the action
  3. an Antogonist ('evil' or bad guy) to challenge the Hero
  4. A moment of Awareness where the Hero realizes how to overcome his or her obstacles
  5. Transformation where in the Hero accomplishes his of her desired goal

First Be Passionate!
(Eye Contact, Chest Up, Posture, Professional Image, Clear and Certain Voice, Energized and Excited)

"When our founders started Nu Skin (Blake, Sandy & Nedra), the skin care industry was nothing like what we have now. Almost all the companies used fillers, bad ingredients and only a few good ingredients in their products. They were expensive and always had to use famous people to advertise for them. That led to society accepting that good things must be expensive! Actually, the ingredient costs in these products were only 0.1% to 3% only!!!

After experiencing what these products did to their skin, they decided to break from the tradition and create a skin care line that had "ALL OF THE GOOD, NONE OF THE BAD". This was a FIRST among the industry. It was new and many companies did not believe they could do it. A product line with this concept would be too expensive to make and market! It was true. If Nu Skin followed the traditional way of marketing products through retail channels, advertising and private distribution, very very few people could actually afford it.

The founders knew they had created a very beneficial product that worked and they wanted the whole world to experience this new concept. Through, their experience, they discovered that network marketing was the only way, everyone could use these great products without paying the excessive money other companies charged. There was no advertising and no retailing. So these costs went directly to better quality ingredients to the end users, you & I.

And it was through the same concept, 25 years ago, that today, our family and friends can experience clinically & scientifically proven, safe and effective products that make us youthful and energetic. I can't thank my sponsor enough for spending the time to show and introduce our family these products and business that gave me this incredible lifestyle and potential.

Nu Skin's MISSION was simple yet profound, they wanted to be a FORCE FOR GOOD in this world to help others, they couldn't do it alone, the only way to really help more people is to create a network of passionate and positive people who like helping others. And this was how Nu Skin, through a network of close to a MILLION distributors help save young children with heart defects in Thailand & Malaysia, victims of earthquakes in Taiwan & China, various charities all over the world and protect the fragile environments that are threatened with extinction with the Force For Good Non-Profit Organization and most importantly, saving the starving children of the world, through The Nourish the Children Initiative. This is a great company!

Before Nu Skin was founded, there were many direct selling companies who have let many people down. Distributors of these companies, put in their effort and lives into that company, only to be disappointed and in some cases cheated by the management. This was a tremendous blow to many people and gave rise to the negative perception of network marketing or direct selling.

The founders knew that network marketing was a pure concept, so they set out to create the best environment for growth. They made sure that there were accurate records, every commission check had to clear, products were clinically tested and safe and a global seamless plan that didn't need the distributors to start from zero again when a new market was open. These fundamental principles paved the way for what has created the most rewarding business plan in the NYSE.

For the past 25 years, Nu Skin is the only Anti-Aging network marketing company on the NYSE that pays the most commissions than any other company. And they have created to date 636 USD Millionaires and growing, almost 1 every 8-10 days! The company is now poised to become the fastest growing network marketing company and achieve USD5Billion in sales in 2016 from USD1.25Billion today. This MEGA growth period will not be seen again may be in our lifetimes, and you have the advantage to ride this incredible growth today.

From a humble and noble cause to be a Force For Good and provide the world with products that are "ALL OF THE GOOD, NONE OF THE BAD" to creating a business model that is second to none in the industry that works, to releasing the next generation of anti-aging technology, ageLOC for the next 20 years, there has never been a better time to be a part of this company & family, we call Nu Skin."

Does it make sense, please feedback.

Innocent questions that help prospects make decisions - now!

Innocent questions that help prospects make decisions - now!

I’m sitting across the prospects’ kitchen table. They are afraid to make a decision.

They’re thinking:

"We don’t want to make a mistake."
"What if we make the wrong decision?"
"Let’s think it over and delay any decision until we have to."
"What if we fail?"
"Maybe we should just take our time thinking about this."

And they’re thinking . . . and thinking . . . and thinking. Oh, if they would only make a decision, any decision, it would be wonderful. I could go home. They could get on with their lives.

But no. That would be too easy. The prospects insist on torturing themselves with indecision. They don’t realize that "not making a decision" is really making a decision to keep things just as they are.

For example, the train is pulling into the station. You don’t know if you should board the train or not. So you think, think, think . . . and soon, the train has already left the station. Your indecision actually made a decision:

You’re not going to be on that train.

You and I know this. Our prospects don’t.

Our prospects don’t realize that when they delay making a decision about our business, they are effectively making a decision to keep their lives the same.

And keeping their lives the same is okay. It’s just that they should be consciously making that decision.

So here are a couple of questions that you can ask your prospects. They’re innocent, non-aggressive questions. These questions will help your prospects make a conscious decision on what is best for their lives.

1. What will happen if you don’t join our business?

Of course the answer is:

"Nothing."

But you don’t answer that question. Let the prospects mentally answer that question for themselves. They’ll probably be thinking this:

"Life will be the same. Tomorrow will look just like today. We’re going to wake up early, commute to work, come back late, grab a quick meal, watch a few minutes of television and go to sleep. Yep, we’re going to go through this routine over and over again – until we’re too old to work."

Not a very pretty picture, is it? Now if the prospects choose to leave everything the same, if they choose to avoid your opportunity . . . that’s okay. They are making a decision. And that’s all we ask.

Want a few more questions like this? Try some of these to see if one fits your style.

2. If you don’t start your own business now, do you see yourself always working for someone else?

3. What do you think will happen next year if you decide not to make any changes this year?

4. Do you think your job routine (five days a week, two weeks of vacation every year) will ever change?

5. I see that you’re kind of stressing out about risking a change in your daily life. Why not just relax and enjoy your life as it is?

6. You don’t have to make a decision to start your own business tonight. Instead, you could simply make a decision to not start your own business and keep your present job routine.

7. You know, you might be thinking, "My daily routine isn’t so bad. Maybe I’ll keep living this way." And that’s also a good decision. Do you think that might be best for you?

All of these questions remind our prospects that the pain of their problems won’t go away by putting off a decision.

So make it easy for your prospects.

Help them make a conscious decision about their future.

And remember, this technique is rejection-free.

We’re not attached to the outcome.

We’re not responsible for the decisions they make in their lives.

We’re only obligated to give our prospects the choices.

The rest is up to them.

Team,

Thought that this might help... it helped us.

The Magic of Consistency

We love things fast, we enjoy a sudden rushes of brilliance and the victory of a 100m dash.

It is OK to accept and appreciate these feats of greatness like winning an Olympic medal. However, we often turn the channel when we see the running of a marathon or when we observe a painter painting or a stone cutter carving. We seldom appreciate their passion or understand their challenges until we see the end result at the finishing line or the statue they create.

You see, the master piece in all of us took years to create and it wasn't over night. Although there are rare cases of overnight changes and successes; which we so adore, for the other 98%, it took time and repeated action to produce and create.

Being consistent will be give you tremendous value:

Success in Relationship

Relationship is about creating TRUST with others. Remember the 1st 3 habits of Steven Covey's 7 Habits of Highly Effective People makes a person trustworthy. Trust is created from building credibility. And credibility is created through CONSISTENT & sincere behavior. When we do what we say, or keep agreements with others, we build credibility. And  credibility builds trust and trust, builds relationships. When our friends can COUNT on us, can depend on us, can rely on us, we excel in that relationship. Its hard to build trust when we only show up 20% of the times, keep agreements 60% of the time and so on and so forth.

Yes! Sometimes we can't make all the agreements. Sometimes we can't promise all the things we said we will do. Sometimes we miss appointments... so how?

Well, your savior is still to be consistent. You see, by being consistent, you can actually buffer any irregularities. Consistency in relationship is about taking action and behaving consistently over time. So, if you miss one, do your best to continue being consistent.

Consistent is a NICE word, it's not as strict as ALWAYS, it's not as loose and SOMETIMES, it's a dynamic status that improves over time. And when we realize that it is over time, that means, we can improve consistently.

Remember that people look for people that they can count on, be CONSISTENT at that...la

Success in Business

Ask any business person, being consistent in giving service, in delivery and excellent quality is the key to it's success. And they will all agree that BUSINESS is about RELATIONSHIPS. So, network marketing is about relationships. What builds relationships will build our business.

Being consistent makes us DEPENDABLE to our business partners. They will know what to expect of us. If we are not consistent with out behaviors, our business partners will question if we are in the right 'mood' to meet their prospects. And when they question, they have doubt. And when they have doubt, they are slow to act or even avoid to act; which ultimately leads to attrition.

So being consistent, creates an environment of certainty and dependability, again that builds the all so important, TRUST.

Being consistent will create MOMENTUM . If the engine piston only moves once randomly when it 'felt' like it, the huge train wouldn't even move. But when it moved consistently, it built up momentum that would eventually move thousands of tons of metal.

Consistency creates Momentum. When we create momentum, nothing will STOP us.

Not only does consistency create unstoppable momentum, it creates EXPONENTIAL results in Network Marketing.

So, consistency pays, and it pays BIG TIME!

Success in Personal Growth

Not only is relationships about others, the most important relationship is with ourselves. Are we consistent with ourselves? This is another word for discipline. I know that the word discipline is scary, and we always find a way to avoid it.

People who are disciplined are actually consistent. One great thing about analyzers and some controllers, is that they are darn right consistent, usually in their own ways. Leveraging it positively will create amazing results in our lives.

If we are afraid of being disciplined, do your best to be consistent. If you can't be consistent 100%, do your best to be consistent 80% of the times.

What does that mean? Well, instead of showing up for training 100% of the times, show up 80% of the time. Or, instead of showing up at training/events 3 times a week, show up 2 times a week, but EVERY week.

We sometimes scare or cheat ourselves too much and say, "If I can't come 100%, I better not do it." or "If I can't have 2 hours to read, I'm not going to read." If you follow this logic, you'll be where you are 5 years from now!

Make the use of every minute to be consistent. When you do that, each minute adds up and sooner or later, you will create momentum. Reading 5 minutes a day for 100 days is 8 hours. Come to think of it, that's a lot of reading time!

So remember, the new word for discipline is Be CONSISTENT.

Success in Health

Similarly, we can't expect miracles to happen overnight when you decide to exercise once in 3 months. Or take supplements whenever we remember, like once a week. Consistent care, respect and maintenance of our health is the key to youth.

Remember, it's "An apple a day, keeps the doctor away" NOT "An apple 'whenever' you feel like it, keeps the doctor away." :)

LifePak doesn't work overnight, it works over years
g3 doesn't work overnight, it works over weeks
Galvanic Spa works over minutes, but consistently over months

Consistency makes you LIVE BETTER, LONGER.

So as we can see, there is MAGIC IN CONSISTENCY, Harness the Power, Leverage the Energy and Be Consistent.
