Team,

Thought that this might help... it helped us.

The Magic of Consistency

We love things fast, we enjoy a sudden rushes of brilliance and the victory of a 100m dash.

It is OK to accept and appreciate these feats of greatness like winning an Olympic medal. However, we often turn the channel when we see the running of a marathon or when we observe a painter painting or a stone cutter carving. We seldom appreciate their passion or understand their challenges until we see the end result at the finishing line or the statue they create.

You see, the master piece in all of us took years to create and it wasn't over night. Although there are rare cases of overnight changes and successes; which we so adore, for the other 98%, it took time and repeated action to produce and create.

Being consistent will be give you tremendous value:

Success in Relationship

Relationship is about creating TRUST with others. Remember the 1st 3 habits of Steven Covey's 7 Habits of Highly Effective People makes a person trustworthy. Trust is created from building credibility. And credibility is created through CONSISTENT & sincere behavior. When we do what we say, or keep agreements with others, we build credibility. And  credibility builds trust and trust, builds relationships. When our friends can COUNT on us, can depend on us, can rely on us, we excel in that relationship. Its hard to build trust when we only show up 20% of the times, keep agreements 60% of the time and so on and so forth.

Yes! Sometimes we can't make all the agreements. Sometimes we can't promise all the things we said we will do. Sometimes we miss appointments... so how?

Well, your savior is still to be consistent. You see, by being consistent, you can actually buffer any irregularities. Consistency in relationship is about taking action and behaving consistently over time. So, if you miss one, do your best to continue being consistent.

Consistent is a NICE word, it's not as strict as ALWAYS, it's not as loose and SOMETIMES, it's a dynamic status that improves over time. And when we realize that it is over time, that means, we can improve consistently.

Remember that people look for people that they can count on, be CONSISTENT at that...la

Success in Business

Ask any business person, being consistent in giving service, in delivery and excellent quality is the key to it's success. And they will all agree that BUSINESS is about RELATIONSHIPS. So, network marketing is about relationships. What builds relationships will build our business.

Being consistent makes us DEPENDABLE to our business partners. They will know what to expect of us. If we are not consistent with out behaviors, our business partners will question if we are in the right 'mood' to meet their prospects. And when they question, they have doubt. And when they have doubt, they are slow to act or even avoid to act; which ultimately leads to attrition.

So being consistent, creates an environment of certainty and dependability, again that builds the all so important, TRUST.

Being consistent will create MOMENTUM . If the engine piston only moves once randomly when it 'felt' like it, the huge train wouldn't even move. But when it moved consistently, it built up momentum that would eventually move thousands of tons of metal.

Consistency creates Momentum. When we create momentum, nothing will STOP us.

Not only does consistency create unstoppable momentum, it creates EXPONENTIAL results in Network Marketing.

So, consistency pays, and it pays BIG TIME!

Success in Personal Growth

Not only is relationships about others, the most important relationship is with ourselves. Are we consistent with ourselves? This is another word for discipline. I know that the word discipline is scary, and we always find a way to avoid it.

People who are disciplined are actually consistent. One great thing about analyzers and some controllers, is that they are darn right consistent, usually in their own ways. Leveraging it positively will create amazing results in our lives.

If we are afraid of being disciplined, do your best to be consistent. If you can't be consistent 100%, do your best to be consistent 80% of the times.

What does that mean? Well, instead of showing up for training 100% of the times, show up 80% of the time. Or, instead of showing up at training/events 3 times a week, show up 2 times a week, but EVERY week.

We sometimes scare or cheat ourselves too much and say, "If I can't come 100%, I better not do it." or "If I can't have 2 hours to read, I'm not going to read." If you follow this logic, you'll be where you are 5 years from now!

Make the use of every minute to be consistent. When you do that, each minute adds up and sooner or later, you will create momentum. Reading 5 minutes a day for 100 days is 8 hours. Come to think of it, that's a lot of reading time!

So remember, the new word for discipline is Be CONSISTENT.

Success in Health

Similarly, we can't expect miracles to happen overnight when you decide to exercise once in 3 months. Or take supplements whenever we remember, like once a week. Consistent care, respect and maintenance of our health is the key to youth.

Remember, it's "An apple a day, keeps the doctor away" NOT "An apple 'whenever' you feel like it, keeps the doctor away." :)

LifePak doesn't work overnight, it works over years
g3 doesn't work overnight, it works over weeks
Galvanic Spa works over minutes, but consistently over months

Consistency makes you LIVE BETTER, LONGER.

So as we can see, there is MAGIC IN CONSISTENCY, Harness the Power, Leverage the Energy and Be Consistent.
